  1. Installing Black & Bleu™
  2. The electronic version of Black & Bleu™ is supplied as a self-extracting StuffIt archive file. Most web browsers will extract the files automatically. If not, double click on the archive to extract the files. If you have a CDROM version of Black & Bleu™, it will contain the same files, but they will not be archived. You may use Black & Bleu™ directly from the CDROM. For better performance, copy the Black & Bleu™ folder to your hard drive.

  16. Mac OS 7.0 or later
  17. Any Mac or clone
  18. 6.9 MB of disk space
  19. 1.8 MB of RAM
  20. SimpleText - any version (supplied by Apple)
  21. A Screen resolution of 640 by 480 or larger and at least 256 colors is recommended for reading the Instruction Manual.

  24. The archive contains the following items:
  25.        Black & Bleu™ – the error analyzer application
  26.        Black & Bleu™/PRO – the PRO version of the error analyzer application
  27.        Read about Black & Bleu™ – a file containing product information about Black & Bleu™.
  28.        B & B Instruction Manual – an application containing information about using Black & Bleu™.
  29.        Printable Instructions – a folder containing the chapters of the instruction manual in Simple Text format. These files are black & white with spacing suitable for printed output.
  30.        Notes – a folder used for adding your own notes to Black & Bleu’s explanations.
  31.        Request an Error Analysis – an application you can use to ask us about error you’ve gotten. (This is a FREE service offered by Bleu Rose Ltd.)

  87. Entering the License Key

Double-click on the program Black & Bleu™ to begin using the program and to enter your license key. When the program opens, the first screen you will see is the License Validation window. You can either try the demo out or purchase the program at this point. The screen shown below shows you the options available. If you wish to try out the demo, click on the corresponding button. If you have purchased a license, you can enter the license key here to remove the limited use restriction. The name that you assigned as the “Owner” of your computer will be automatically filled into the field titled “Your Name.” Change it if you like.

The license key will resemble the one shown in the following illustration. Please note the upper and lowercase nature of the key. Also, be aware that the key consists of 5 groups of 4 LETTERS separated by dashes. If you don’t enter the key EXACTLY (including the dashes), it will not unlock the software. There are NO NUMBERS in the license key. The license key string has to be keyed in, character by character. It cannot be pasted in, even with a FKey for typing strings.
